July 2021 saw Grecco Romank unleash their debut album ‘Red Tower’ on Aotearoa New Zealand audiences. It was a statement of decayed opulence, a fusion of dark wave, new beat industrial and infectious sewer pop. After touring Aotearoa and playing extensively Grecco Romank gained a reputation for their incendiary live shows.
“Sometimes you witness a band perform live and you become instantly obsessed… the team of Damian Golfinopoulos, Billie Fee and Mikey Sperring fuse together electronic elements including EBM, Industrial and Eurodance into Cronenbergian new shapes designed to set dance floors alight — with the operatic Fee and the growling Sperring being one of the most spine-tingling local vocal pairings since Fiona McDonald and Chris Matthews of the Headless Chickens.” - Under The Radar, 2021
Shred Tower is the highly anticipated follow up; a remix album that excavates Red Tower’s eerie brutalism through mutually assured construction.
Shred Tower features tracks from twelve electronic trailblazers from Aotearoa New Zealand, London and Berlin. The result is a haunting and savage album that spans EBM, industrial, techno and experimental and the connective tissue between.
